
Auditor II – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leverages retail expertise to execute audit procedures that encompass the identification and analysis of issues.
• Detect and confirm discrepancies in claim payments, both over and under-payments.
• The role is characterized by a high level of complexity and scope.
• Accurately input claims into Cotiviti's system, adhering to established protocols.
• Revise existing reports, create and execute custom queries, and ensure the precision of current reporting.
• Act as a key contributor and advocate in the formulation of audit strategies.
• Collaborates with Business Optimization to design new reporting tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Over 3 years of practical experience in auditing.
• Preferred background in accounting, finance, accounts payable, and a retail setting (merchandising, buying, or auditing).
• Strong familiarity with and understanding of the retail industry is advantageous.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access database querying.
• Investigative abilities to assess facts and evidence critically.
• Excellent communication skills, including the capacity to foster relationships.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and often unstructured environment.
