Associate/Senior Analytics Reporting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Proactively monitor and report on the performance metrics of models in operation.

• Analyze data to facilitate improved business decisions.

• Develop intricate programming solutions to extract and manipulate data effectively.

• Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Examine reporting trends for insights.

• Execute ad hoc data requests for essential business stakeholders.

• Provide reporting related to fraud triggers.

• Automate the generation of recurring reports.

• Oversee and sustain complex statistical models aimed at optimizing high-volume decisions to enhance the intrinsic value to Credit Acceptance.

• Create and present reports to evaluate the performance of processes, models, and strategies.

• Conduct data analysis to address business challenges and foster improved decision-making.

• Convert overarching business objectives into actionable tasks and technical specifications required for achievement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in fields such as Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, etc. is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, or other technical tools is required.

• Basic understanding of SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other programming languages.

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or other statistical programming languages (SAS/SQL is preferred) is required for Mid Level roles.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or other statistical programming languages (SAS/SQL is preferred) is required for Senior roles.

• Experience in creating reports and conducting analysis within an analytical tool or in a business intelligence environment is necessary (Mid Level/Senior).

• Proven ability to meet objectives with minimal oversight (Mid Level/Senior).

• Capacity to manage multiple competing priorities (Senior).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Mid Level/Senior).

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Utilize analytical skills to creatively solve problems (Mid Level/Senior).

• Proven track record of working on projects with extensive requirements (Mid Level/Senior).

• Experience in mentoring or providing guidance to junior team members (Senior).
