This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP solutions within our S/4HANA Cloud system. Begin with well-defined, manageable tasks and quickly advance to larger projects.
β’ Embrace Ownership Early: Taking ownership is fundamental to our approach. In your initial months, you will take charge of a feature, interface, or process β from design to deployment and support.
β’ Collaborate Across the FINN Stack: SAP functions within a broader ecosystem. You will interact with Make, Node, Python, Retool, and our Data Warehouse, tracing data from upstream automation through SAP to downstream analytics.
β’ Investigate, Donβt Just Execute: Engage directly with Finance stakeholders to comprehend the actual challenges β not just the submitted tickets. Suggest improved solutions when the existing tickets miss the core issue.
β’ Acquire Knowledge of Modern SAP: Familiarize yourself with Clean Core principles, Released APIs, RAP, OData, and side-by-side extensibility on BTP. Bring your enthusiasm; we will invest in your professional development.
β’ Recent Computer Science graduate or 1β3 years of experience in software engineering.
β’ Fundamental SAP/ABAP skills are necessary β internships, working student roles, certifications, bootcamps, or initial job experiences all count. We do not expect years of ABAP experience; we anticipate that you have encountered it and are eager to learn more.
β’ Strong willingness to engage with non-SAP technologies within the FINN stack: Make, Node, Python, Retool, DWH, dbt. Hands-on experience is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
β’ Authentic interest in modern SAP development β including Clean Core, Released APIs, RAP, BTP, and side-by-side extensibility β and a desire to incorporate these into your skill set.
β’ Analytical mindset, data-driven, and comfortable exploring systems that you are not yet fully familiar with.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities β you will interact with Finance stakeholders from your first week.
β’ Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
β’ Flexibility to work from our contemporary Munich office or remotely within the EU/EMEA region (within +/- 3 hours of the German time zone).
β’ With significant growth potential, FINN offers a highly motivating startup environment where you can thrive and tackle ambitious challenges in cross-functional teams.
β’ Competitive fixed salary, substantial virtual equity stake in the company, along with an annual personal development budget of β¬1,500.
β’ Visa and relocation assistance available for you and your family.
β’ Kindergarten and daycare support for employees based in Germany.
β’ Interested in driving your own car with FINN? Benefit from our employee discount program.
