This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and create scalable enterprise file transfer and B2B integration solutions utilizing IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) and Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
• Develop, configure, and uphold BPML-based business processes and integration workflows.
• Lead partner onboarding initiatives and establish secure communication channels using SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, and other related protocols.
• Design and maintain high-volume, mission-critical file transfer solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
• Manage IBM DB2 databases, optimize queries, and ensure database performance across integration platforms.
• Collaborate with mainframe teams to support enterprise integration needs involving z/OS and JCL-based systems.
• Implement and maintain messaging solutions utilizing IBM MQ, JMS, and various middleware technologies.
• Design and expose integration services through REST and SOAP APIs as required by business applications.
• Monitor integration environments, proactively identify issues, and resolve file transfer and business process failures.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure teams to provide integration solutions that align with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, encryption policies, certificate management, and regulatory requirements.
• Offer technical leadership, architectural guidance, mentoring, and best practices to development and support teams.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to Sterling, DB2, file transfer, and integration while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Total experience of 9+ years.
• Extensive experience in IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) and Sterling File Gateway (SFG) architecture, development, administration, and support.
• Proven hands-on expertise in BPML (Business Process Modeling Language), partner onboarding, and business process development (Must Have).
• Strong background in designing and implementing end-to-end file transfer and B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling (Must Have).
• Hands-on experience with IBM DB2 (z/OS or LUW), including query optimization, performance tuning, and database design (Must Have).
• Solid understanding of IBM Mainframe technologies including z/OS, JCL, and enterprise integration environments (Must Have).
• Experience in implementing secure file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, AS2, and HTTPS.
• Practical experience with data exchange formats including XML, JSON, EDI (X12/EDIFACT), and partner integration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of encryption, certificates, security compliance, and managed file transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies like IBM MQ, JMS, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Knowledge of API integration using REST and SOAP services.
• Exposure to IBM ACE / Integration Bus and enterprise application integration architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in integration environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience in roles such as Senior Developer, Lead Engineer, or Integration Architect within IBM Sterling environments.
