Associate Medical Writer – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create content outlines and drafts for presentations, digital assets, manuscripts, congress publications, and meeting materials under the guidance of senior staff.

• Research and generate technically precise, well-crafted, and visually appealing materials.

• Modify writing and communication styles to suit different audiences.

• Ensure that all materials adhere to project specifications, deadlines, and internal quality benchmarks.

• Volunteer for meticulous data verification in accordance with BOLD processes.

• Design engaging visual presentations using PowerPoint.

• Accurately integrate feedback into both current and future assignments.

• Enhance scientific understanding through proactive research and familiarize oneself with Medical Communications, as well as the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

• Learn and adhere to internal quality control protocols, including conducting internal reviews.

• Effectively manage and prioritize time across multiple projects.

• Participate in internal status meetings and keep teams informed about ongoing actions.

• Address challenges, drive outcomes, and seek senior guidance when necessary.

• Collaborate with client services, creative teams, and the broader BOLD team.

• Adhere to deadlines and promptly notify senior scientific team members regarding progress or any delays.

• Accurately and timely complete timesheets.

• Maintain an average billability rate of 85–90%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).

• Experience in writing gained through higher education or other relevant activities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and the capacity to communicate effectively with senior executives.

• A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for acquiring and mastering new skills.

• A curious mindset with a strong desire to enhance scientific knowledge across various therapy areas.
