Associate Manager, Consumer Retention

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Canada Core Marketplace lifecycle strategy by developing and implementing CRM programs that enhance engagement, retention, and reactivation for DoorDash's primary Canadian customer segment.

• Create comprehensive campaigns by managing audience segmentation, targeting, creative briefs, quality assurance, launching, and post-campaign analysis within Braze.

• Design and refine customer journeys by establishing trigger-based and continuous CRM initiatives that connect with customers at pivotal moments in their lifecycle (such as onboarding, re-engagement, and win-back).

• Collaborate across departments by partnering with Product, Analytics, Promo Strategy, Creative Studio, and Marketing Operations to create unified lifecycle programs.

• Analyze and enhance performance by reviewing campaign and program outcomes with analytics collaborators, identifying trends, and translating insights into practical improvements.

• Stay informed on best practices by incorporating relevant insights on lifecycle marketing, retention techniques, and CRM innovations for the wider team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing.

• Extensive knowledge of CRM technologies, including email service providers and marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

• Possess an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Basic understanding of SQL, HTML, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Periscope).

• Familiarity with email industry best practices, including contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics.

• Highly organized, reliable, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
