Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison, Cardiac Electrophysiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create and execute strategic engagement initiatives with KOLs, surgeons, operating room personnel, and pertinent medical societies in cardiac ablation.

• Serve as a scientific authority in cardiac electrophysiology, providing medical and scientific education to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with teams in Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Scientific Affairs, and Research & Development.

• Convey complex scientific concepts and offer clinical support during voice-of-customer sessions.

• Stay updated on scientific research, medical publications, and emerging trends in cardiac electrophysiology and appendage closure.

• Prepare presentation materials and engage in symposia, conferences, and educational programs.

• Provide scientific and technical expertise to support clinical studies and research initiatives.

• Educate internal Sales and Marketing teams on scientific messaging.

• Participate in internal training sessions focused on cardiac electrophysiology platforms.

• Organize, analyze, and report on customer, scientific, and market information for both pre-launch and marketed products.

• Develop educational resources and support programs for personnel.

• Engage with clinicians to discuss investigator-initiated and collaborative study concepts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• A Doctoral Degree (PhD, MD, DO, etc.) is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the biotech/medtech sector is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Sciences, or as a Medical Science Liaison is strongly preferred.

• Previous experience in cardiovascular medicine is highly desired.

• Strong expertise in cardiovascular medicine, particularly in electrophysiology, is greatly preferred.

• Insight into interventional cardiology and/or electrophysiology is highly valued.

• A solid understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory guidelines, and medical terminology is essential.

• Proven track record of establishing and sustaining relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.

• Capability to swiftly and accurately analyze and interpret scientific data.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Highly self-motivated, independent, and adaptable.

• Must possess work authorization in the USA.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% domestically.
