Associate Broker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Evaluates new and renewal business applications to ensure that the information is suitable for determining coverage placement.

• Primarily conducts brokerage tasks for intricate E&S assignments as part of the daily responsibilities.

• Assesses risks to either accept or decline them, determining their placement with various carriers using independent judgment and discretion.

• Identifies prospects and actively generates interest through phone calls, written correspondence, or in-person visits.

• Ensures that quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, that policies are issued promptly and accurately, applicable state filings are completed, and taxes are paid in accordance with state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A valid state insurance license.

• One (1) or more years of demonstrated success in P&C insurance experience.
