Art Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Oversees the management and creative workflows of designated projects.

• Engages in hands-on direction of intricate art and animation elements to ensure top-notch quality deliverables.

• Collaborates with Designers to develop concepts, grasping gameplay/functionality, and converting their vision into executable art strategies for projects.

• Directly supervises the daily operations and deadlines of artists and animators.

• Provides thorough feedback regarding art and animation aspects.

• Collects and organizes feedback, relaying it to the art team.

• Assists Designers in compiling assets for presentation and review during Designer meetings.

• Fosters team building and offers mentoring leadership, including feedback and training.

• Manages timelines, resources, and budget allocations for art-related projects, ensuring that deliverables are on schedule and within scope.

• Collaborates with various departments to translate objectives into clear creative strategies.

• Works closely with multiple global organizations.

• Oversees the creative process from initial concept to final execution.

• Exhibits exceptional organization, leadership, and communication skills.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in creating art packages within the slot or video game industry.

• A portfolio showcasing previous work that reflects an ability to transform ideas into engaging games.

• Proven expertise in Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite.

• Preferred knowledge of any 3D software and Spine.

• Demonstrated understanding of the game development process.
