Arquiteto Cloud Sênior – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the definition, evolution, and review of cloud architectures for new products and existing systems.

• Engage in a **hands-on** manner to implement cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.

• Design scalable, resilient, secure architectures that are microservices and event-driven.

• Establish and implement architecture standards, governance, and best practices (infrastructure, security, deployment, and observability).

• Build and enhance infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Apply SRE practices, including defining SLIs/SLOs, resilience strategies, troubleshooting, and incident response.

• Lead cost optimization initiatives (FinOps), performance, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with development, data, and security teams, influencing technical and architectural decisions.

• Support and mentor junior professionals in cloud and architectural technical growth.

• Assess, propose, and implement new technologies, services, and standards within the company's cloud strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent proven experience.

• Strong practical experience with AWS (production level).

• Experience with at least one additional cloud provider (Azure or GCP).

• Proficiency in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, as well as modern managed services.

• Solid experience in administering Linux environments in production.

• Knowledge in troubleshooting (CPU, memory, disk, and network).

• Familiarity with shell scripting (bash), process management, permissions, logs, and basic system tuning.

• Experience with microservices, APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker, fallback, etc.).

• Solid experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Practical experience with build, deploy, and infrastructure versioning pipelines.

• Ability to evolve and automate continuous delivery processes.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, etc.).

• Ability to efficiently diagnose production issues.

• Experience dealing with real production incidents.

• Experience with high availability, scalability, and self-healing.

• Practical knowledge in IAM, networking, encryption, secret management, and security best practices.

• Experience in cost analysis and optimization in cloud environments.

• Proactive and execution-oriented profile.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication for interaction with both technical and non-technical areas.

• Experience in dynamic environments (e.g., startups, scale-ups).
