This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Design, define, and evolve the architecture of the internal development platform (Internal Developer Platform).
• Define, implement, and enhance golden paths for backend and frontend solution development.
• Create and maintain project archetypes and templates to accelerate the development of new solutions (backend, frontend, data, microservices).
• Lead the implementation and adoption of the engineering tech stack and single source of truth (software catalog, templates, documentation as code).
• Define and maintain a catalog of approved tools, technologies, and software.
• Drive and govern the observability and traceability of solutions (standardization of logs, noise reduction, metrics).
• Design, build, and maintain standardized CI/CD pipelines that automate quality, security, and deployment validations.
• Develop strategies for managing and reducing technical debt, leading refactoring initiatives when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and compliance standards from the architectural perspective.
• Diagram and keep architectural artifacts and their interactions up-to-date.
• Evaluate and propose new technologies and frameworks.
• Support development teams as a technical guide and reference for best practices.
• Ensure technological evolution aligns with business objectives and the technical roadmap.
• Measure and enhance the developer experience by optimizing onboarding, development, and deployment times.
• Degree in Civil Engineering in Computing, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software architecture, platform, or development infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing internal development platforms or tooling for engineering teams.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, API Management, and Cloud Native architectures.
• Experience integrating quality tools such as SonarQube and static code analysis.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code practices.
• Familiarity with IDP, Software Catalogs, ADRs, and documentation as code.
• Experience in designing and standardizing logging, monitoring, and traceability.
• Ability to design secure architectures adhering to industry standards.
• Preferred experience in frontend architecture and microfrontends.
• Preferred experience in regulated environments (fintech or banking).
