This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures using AWS services, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

• Integrate microservices and systems via API Gateway, orchestrate serverless functions with Lambda, and manage asynchronous messaging with SQS.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the quality, security, and efficiency of technological solutions.

• Define and design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using AWS services, ensuring efficient resource and cost utilization.

• Design and oversee the integration of microservices and systems through API Gateway, allowing for secure and managed API exposure.

• Create and coordinate workflows using AWS Lambda to execute business logic without the need for server management.

• Implement and optimize message queues with SQS to decouple components, enhancing scalability and fault tolerance of applications.

• Define security, authentication, and authorization policies for exposed services, particularly in API Gateway and AWS resources.

• Collaborate in automating deployments and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

• Monitor solution performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose continuous improvements using AWS monitoring services (CloudWatch, X-Ray).

• Document proposed architectures and promote best practices in the development and operation of cloud solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in cloud environments and with AWS service integration projects.

• Involvement in cloud migration projects, serverless architecture development, and API design.

• Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly in services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

• Knowledge in creating, managing, and securing APIs using API Gateway.

• Development and orchestration of serverless functions with AWS Lambda.

• Implementation and optimization of message queues with Amazon SQS.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or SAM.

• Use of monitoring and tracing tools such as CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and tools like Jenkins, Git, and CodePipeline.
