Area Manager – Maintenance, Warehouse Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Build and sustain strong customer relationships.

• Oversee maintenance teams within the designated area, including the management of coordinators and direct supervision of technicians as needed.

• Perform Coordinator duties when necessary.

• Manage the overall workload in the area and enhance the allocation of human and material resources, including the implementation and monitoring of KPIs.

• Review and optimize budgets related to material procurement within the site’s scope.

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development processes for team members.

• Recognize and escalate training deficiencies; organize the deployment of specially trained technicians across various sites.

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

• Work with HR Business Partners on specific cases and key corporate processes to facilitate effective communication.

• Coordinate with Deployment teams to synchronize the maintenance team's arrival at new sites.

• Define and establish the organization of on-site teams for new site openings.

• Assist HR and Safety teams in ensuring compliance with local regulations.

• Ensure adherence to EHS procedures for both internal teams and external partners.

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance management.

• Proficiency in both English and Dutch.

• Proven track record in leading and developing maintenance teams.

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong capabilities in mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, with extensive knowledge of software and automation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
