Architectural Draftsman – Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive building plan sets using AutoCAD, which includes elevations, roof plans, floor plans, and grading/site plans.

• Develop precise construction drawings featuring accurate dimensions and annotations.

• Analyze and produce complete architectural plan sets, extending beyond basic layouts.

• Manage revisions and integrate markups/redlines provided by project stakeholders.

• Prepare drawings that comply with permitting and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure all documentation adheres to client and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college-level degree in Architecture.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in architectural drafting or as an architect.

• Proven experience in generating complete building plan sets using AutoCAD.

• Strong capability to interpret and develop full architectural plan sets, extending beyond basic layouts.

• Experience in creating elevations, roof plans, floor plans, and grading/site plans.

• Proficient in creating construction details with precise dimensions and annotations.

• Familiarity with preparing drawings for permitting and code compliance.

• Professional working proficiency in English (C1 level).

• Submission of work samples showcasing building plans/plan sets is required.

• Willingness to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in Revit.
