AppSec Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Emphasize penetration testing and application security.

• API penetration testing: Conduct security assessments of endpoints and evaluate authentication processes (OAuth, JWT).

• Secure Development: Perform code reviews and implement SAST/DAST tools within CI/CD pipelines.

• Vulnerability Reporting: Create technical documentation for developers and generate executive risk reports for stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Information Technology.

• Demonstrated expertise in web penetration testing and API security.

• Skilled in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Node.js, PHP, or Go.

• Experience with secure development methodologies.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Systems Analysis is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI/MCP tools for test automation and technical documentation is preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities are preferred.
