Applied AI Researcher – World Reconstruction and Generation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Innovate and modify Deep Learning-based techniques for NuRec world reconstruction, novel view synthesis, generative modeling of images and videos, scene completion, and neural rendering.

• Leverage your deep expertise in Deep Learning tools and methodologies, 3D Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and simulation.

• Develop experimental prototypes using Python, PyTorch, state-of-the-art DL frameworks, and AI tools to facilitate rapid research and development iterations.

• Enhance the realism, consistency, and controllability of generated scenes, particularly for viewpoints and trajectories that extend beyond the originally captured sensor path.

• Create evaluation and agentic AI-assisted research workflows to improve quality triage, regression detection, experiment automation, and accelerate model iterations.

• Collaborate with a team of researchers and developers to transform promising research outcomes into reliable, functional technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD from a prestigious university in an engineering or computer science-related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience, or an MS (or equivalent experience) with over 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Profound understanding of modern ML/DL algorithms and architectures, along with practical experience in solving real-world problems using Deep Learning.

• Strong foundation in current techniques in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, neural rendering, or 3D reconstruction.

• Proficient in Python and PyTorch.

• Exceptional mathematical abilities.
