Applications Engineer, Agentic Workflows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver agent-driven automation solutions across engineering and CAE workflows.

• Create and implement agents that interface with engineering tools, simulation data, and workflows.

• Represent engineering workflows as structured, agent-executable steps with defined inputs, outputs, and guardrails.

• Incorporate agents into comprehensive pipelines as reusable functionalities rather than isolated scripts.

• Transform initial agent use cases into robust, production-ready systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to agent logic, tool execution, data management, and orchestration.

• Collaborate directly with customer engineers to grasp actual workflows and technical limitations.

• Bridge the gaps between real workflows and platform capabilities, providing valuable insights to influence product development.

• Function primarily as a builder, with the flexibility to be deployed on critical projects when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in software engineering, particularly with a strong focus on Python.

• Practical experience in automating processes related to engineering or technical software.

• Knowledge of CAE workflows, simulation data, and solver-driven methodologies.

• Experience in constructing or implementing agent-based or LLM-driven systems.

• Skilled in orchestrating tools, scripts, or workflows across various systems.

• Capability to design reliable and deterministic automation for complex tools.

• Experience in converting internal automation into reusable, product-grade components.

• Proficient in debugging across tool execution, data management, and orchestration layers.
