This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Assist our clients throughout their journey with VarSome, starting from pre-sales discussions and platform onboarding to ongoing support and account management.
• Serve as the technical “closer” by providing expert demonstrations that connect clinical requirements with VarSome Premium and Clinical offerings.
• Manage the customer evaluation process, addressing “pain points” related to variant analysis, and provide guidance on lab equipment/system integrations.
• Lead onboarding sessions for geneticists and bioinformaticians to ensure a swift “time to value”.
• Take the lead on on-premises and private cloud deployments, coordinating the specifications for infrastructure (storage, network).
• Optimize filtering strategies and automation to enhance platform “stickiness”.
• Collect feedback from power users systematically to shape the product roadmap.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure product-market alignment and expansion.
• A Master’s or PhD in Human Genetics, Laboratory Medicine, Molecular Biology/Pathology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience in clinical genomics workflows, including NGS library preparation, sequencing, and secondary and/or tertiary analysis within a clinical context.
• A comprehensive understanding of variant classification frameworks and a thorough knowledge of NGS workflows.
• The capability to simplify intricate clinical genomics and bioinformatics concepts for clinicians, laboratory technicians, researchers, and IT professionals.
• Fluent in Polish, with proficiency in English required.
• Previous experience in a hospital or private laboratory setting interpreting NGS patient cases.
• Knowledge of working in regulated environments, such as IVDR, CLIA/CAP, or equivalent standards.
• Demonstrated experience in multicultural settings and/or supporting international clients in a scaling environment.
