Application Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Conduct market analysis and/or proof of concept activities to validate proposed designs and/or identify appropriate technologies and products within the delivery stream domain and scope.

• Collaborate with ICT Engineering and Operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of approved designs, clarifying any outstanding issues and providing design expertise to guide the process to success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in ICT Solution design, particularly in integration architectures, with a focus on microservices architectures in recent years.

• At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native technologies (microservices, REST APIs, message queues, etc.).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions based on cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes).

• Involvement in at least 3 projects focused on system integration.

• Experience with and engagement in the EU Interoperability program.

• Strong understanding of interoperability technologies (e.g., REST APIs, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented applications).

• Proficient in container and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with solution design best practices, capable of creating self-explanatory documents and diagrams.

• Knowledge of security and access management best practices for designing cloud-native solutions.

• Preferred: Certification in Kubernetes, Azure/AWS Cloud Architecture, Agile methodologies, etc.
