Android Developer – Risk Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance high-performance Android applications focused on risk management and identity verification solutions.

• Integrate and refine on-device AI models — deploy lightweight face recognition and liveness detection models that operate locally on Android devices.

• Create Android client-side libraries and frameworks to accelerate development processes and enhance code quality.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop hybrid frameworks and on-device inference systems.

• Execute user action recognition workflows: camera capture → on-device preprocessing → backend API interactions.

• Manage video processing on Android, including real-time frame processing and camera stream supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing Android applications from the ground up, with strong expertise in Kotlin/Java.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying on-device/local AI models on Android — integrating lightweight machine learning models (such as face recognition, liveness detection, and action recognition) with optimized inference.

• Proficient in video processing on Android, including camera capture, real-time frame handling, and video stream management.

• Knowledge of face recognition and computer vision product development, including workflows for face detection, liveness verification, and anti-spoofing measures.

• Established experience in Android development, encompassing architecture design, Jetpack, OkHttp, and relevant frameworks.

• Familiarity with cross-platform technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript, React; knowledge of C++ and JNI is an advantage.
