This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Oversee the design and modeling of analytical data with a focus on product metrics and the customer journey;
• Act as the technical authority for the Analytics Engineering team, advocating for quality standards, version control, and thorough documentation of code and data pipelines;
• Strategize, evaluate, and enhance pipelines using SQL, dbt, and other tools within our technology stack;
• Guarantee governance, reliability, and quality of data utilized in experiments (such as A/B tests), dashboards, and product evaluations;
• Partner with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities, establish metrics, assist in decision-making, and assess the effects of features and enhancements;
• Guide and technically nurture the team, fostering best practices in data engineering and product analytics;
• Keep abreast of analytics engineering trends, introducing innovative solutions and automations to boost efficiency and competitiveness;
• Define, implement, and refine centralized metrics (the organization's "source of truth"), ensuring they are documented and maintained for the entire company;
• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and impact-driven culture.
• Extensive experience as a Tech Lead in data teams, ideally with a background in digital or financial products;
• Advanced proficiency in data modeling, constructing data marts, and developing scalable analytical pipelines;
• Practical experience with dbt (crucial for our transformation processes) and code versioning tools (Git/GitHub);
• Expertise in SQL for manipulating and transforming substantial data sets;
• Proficiency in Python for extracting and orchestrating data pipelines;
• Exceptional communication skills to serve as a liaison between the credit squad's business requirements and technical execution;
• Familiarity with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar);
• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or related areas.
