Analyst, Vcheck Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Analysts are tasked with overseeing and managing various assignments from inception to completion, performing comprehensive Internet, database, and media research on companies and individuals to deliver our clients an accurate evaluation of the overall reputation of a subject company and its key personnel.

• Execute thorough research in English and other local languages pertaining to companies and individuals by utilizing public record databases, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources, the internet, and human intelligence.

• Examine research, organize findings, and synthesize pertinent information; merge human intelligence insights with public records data to craft a cohesive narrative.

• Produce well-structured, logical, and objective reports assessing the status, legitimacy, general background, and overall reputation of a company and its key personnel with minimal revisions needed.

• This position will initially focus 100% on research and report composition.

• Tenacity in research and exceptional attention to detail.

• Outstanding critical thinking, writing, and editing abilities, along with an investigative mindset.

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in International Relations/Affairs, Political Science, Regional Studies, Journalism, Criminal Justice, Law, Business, or other related fields.

• Professional fluency in English and preferred professional proficiency in a foreign language.

• Capability to effectively address inquiries from diverse stakeholders, including leadership, managers, and employees.

• Proficiency in the following software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.

• Availability to work a full-time schedule, with an understanding that additional hours and weekend work may qualify for overtime pay (OT).
