This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• First Responder: Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents reported through tickets, email, and phone, guaranteeing exceptional communication with clients.

• Proactive Threat Analysis & Monitoring: Engage in ongoing surveillance, proactive investigations, threat assessments, and vulnerability evaluations utilizing established procedures and your own analytical skills.

• Incident Response & Escalation: Resolve technical issues independently. When required, properly escalate intricate problems to Level 2 analysts and Team Leaders.

• Continuous Improvement: Actively engage and suggest ideas during investigations aimed at crucial information gathering. Investigate and evaluate new monitoring and remediation solutions.

• Documentation & Best Practices: Carefully record all actions taken during incident management. Propose enhancements to GFC processes, procedures, and security policies relevant to the area.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with local team members, external personnel, and assist in training junior analysts and interns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Currently enrolled student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in operational environments (SOC, Help Desk, or equivalent positions).

• Technical Knowledge:

• o Strong comprehension of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.

• o Fundamental understanding of HTML and web essentials.

• Language: Intermediate proficiency in English (B1+ or B2, both spoken and written).
