Alliance SQL Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the complete delivery process for Power BI analytics solutions, from defining requirements to deploying in production.

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and datasets.

• Construct and enhance advanced DAX measures, incorporating intricate business logic and time intelligence.

• Develop and refine T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures tailored for analytical workloads.

• Collaborate with data engineers to define and implement analytical data models and semantic layers.

• Oversee Power BI performance tuning, governance, and the application of best practices.

• Lead production releases, enhancements, and the ongoing maintenance of BI solutions.

• Validate data, resolve issues, and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Identify data, logic, and performance challenges and initiate corrective measures.

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

• Support initiatives involving Power Apps and Power Automate when they complement BI solutions.

• Produce concise technical documentation and solution design artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.

• Strong practical experience in the design, development, and deployment of Power BI.

• Expert-level skills in DAX with a proven track record in performance optimization.

• Proficient T-SQL programming skills for analytical and reporting applications.

• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema and analytical models.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions.

• Experience collaborating directly with senior business stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Ideally, possess working knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Experience with enterprise-level relational databases.

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, or Power Platform.

• Experience in defining reusable BI patterns and deployment standards.
