AI/Data Solutioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation of AI/Data solutions, accelerators, and reusable service offerings.

• Design and execute production-quality Proofs of Concept (PoCs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and scalable frameworks.

• Engineer comprehensive solutions that encompass data pipelines, storage, semantic models, and AI components.

• Develop AI agents utilizing Azure AI Foundry, focusing on orchestration, tool integration, and grounding.

• Implement sophisticated AI patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-agent workflows.

• Guarantee that solutions are scalable, secure, and governed (RBAC, monitoring, evaluation).

• Promote reusable solution patterns and foster internal intellectual property creation.

• Work alongside delivery teams to facilitate the transition of solutions into production.

• Assist in pre-sales endeavors, including workshops, proposals, and demonstrations.

• Articulate the value of solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or Full-Stack Engineering.

• Proficient in Python/.Net, SQL, and distributed systems (with a preference for Spark).

• Proven experience in constructing large-scale data platforms and pipelines.

• Practical knowledge of the Azure Data + AI ecosystem (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks).

• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, vector search, and RAG architecture.

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar.

• Strong capability in solution architecture and design thinking.

• Expertise in observability practices, including Application Insights/OpenTelemetry.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to convert business challenges into scalable technical solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in stakeholder management and collaboration.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-oriented mindset.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake concepts, semantic models).

• Familiarity with CI/CD for data/AI workloads and basic MLOps/LLMOps practices.

• Understanding of identity and access management patterns (Entra ID, managed identities, service principals).

• Exposure to agent evaluation frameworks.
