This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Take charge of the configuration, administration, and continuous upkeep of our AI-driven application platform.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers to define the framework and standards that dictate the development, review, and deployment of AI-assisted applications.
• Design and create tools that empower teams to develop and enhance applications independently with reduced engineering overhead.
• Assess AI-generated code for security, scalability, and production readiness, while establishing code review standards tailored to AI-assisted development workflows.
• Act as a technical consultant for non-technical stakeholders, aiding them in understanding capabilities, identifying risks, and determining when engineering input is necessary.
• Set and advocate for best practices in AI-assisted development throughout the engineering organization.
• Collaborate with the AI Solutions team and engineering leadership to outline the long-term architecture of the platform as it evolves.
• Over 8 years of experience in developing and delivering production-grade applications.
• Proven experience in Elixir; capable of evaluating, refactoring, and extending Elixir codebases while guiding others in similar tasks.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary AI development tools and LLM-assisted coding workflows (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Lovable, or similar), with the ability to critically assess their outputs.
• Practical, hands-on experience in building AI-powered applications — not merely familiar with the tools, but with a proven record of having delivered them.
• Experience working in regulated environments or with applications that have data sensitivity requirements (MNPI, PII, or similar).
• Practical AWS experience, including deployment, infrastructure management, and cloud-native service patterns (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, SQS).
• Background in creating internal platforms or self-service developer tools that minimize engineering toil and empower non-technical users.
• Ability to clearly communicate with non-technical stakeholders — translating technical limitations into straightforward language and advising business users on risks without necessitating an understanding of the underlying architecture.
• Strong ownership mentality: comfortable navigating ambiguity and charting a course forward with minimal guidance.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with microservices architecture and service decomposition patterns.
• An interest in sports or collectibles is a plus!
• Remote work opportunities available exclusively for candidates in LATAM.
