• The AI Solutions Consultant is a senior, client-facing expert in artificial intelligence, responsible for shaping AI strategy and technology decisions throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, this position collaborates closely with Sales Executives once discovery begins, utilizing extensive AI knowledge to validate requirements, develop solutions, and communicate business-aligned AI strategies.
• This role is essential in converting AI capabilities into quantifiable business results.
• Utilize in-depth AI knowledge to confirm client needs, craft customized AI and machine learning solutions, and resolve technical objections, thereby directly enhancing sales success rates.
• Serve as a proactive AI expert assisting sales executives during discovery, solution design, and validation, thereby expediting deal cycles and boosting buyer confidence.
• Design and position AI solutions for various use cases including intelligent automation, predictive analytics, generative AI, conversational AI, and decision support systems.
• Effectively communicate AI value propositions by simplifying complex technical ideas (models, data pipelines, GenAI architectures) into business outcomes such as efficiency, revenue growth, cost savings, and competitive edge.
• Advise customers on AI readiness, covering aspects like data strategy, governance, security, privacy, and ethical AI considerations.
• Work collaboratively with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to enhance AI offerings, ensure proper positioning, and contribute strategic insights into AI service roadmaps.
• Represent Thrive at industry events, webinars, and client-facing initiatives, building credibility and establishing thought leadership in AI and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and empower sales and technical teams on AI positioning, messaging, and best practices to bolster internal expertise and drive successful deals.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in AI, data science, machine learning, analytics, or AI-focused consulting/pre-sales roles that support complex solution sales.
• Preferred experience with consulting firms, MSPs, or technology service providers delivering AI-enabled solutions.
• Profound understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI architectures (LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning).
• Practical familiarity with AI platforms and ecosystems such as OpenAI, Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI, or similar technologies.
• Strong grasp of data pipelines, feature engineering, model lifecycle management, and MLOps practices.
• Demonstrated ability to expedite deal cycles by offering actionable AI insights during discovery and solution validation.
• Proficiency in translating AI capabilities into business impact, ROI, and measurable success metrics for both executive and technical stakeholders.
• Outstanding relationship-building and collaboration skills with internal teams and external customers.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop AI roadmaps aligned with client objectives and maturity levels.
• Capability to mentor and guide sales and technical teams on AI positioning, messaging, and responsible AI practices.
