AI Solutions Architect – IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Define and establish scalable, secure, AI-driven IT architectures that align with business objectives.

• Investigate, recommend, and implement automation solutions based on AI/LLM for IT processes, support systems, and knowledge management.

• Lead AI initiatives and strategy meetings, overseeing discussions on technology trends and conducting quarterly reviews on IT innovation.

• Design and deploy cloud-native, automation-centric IT systems that emphasize resilience, performance, and zero-touch management.

• Implement AI-enhanced IT service desk solutions, compliance monitoring, incident response, and proactive issue resolution.

• Assist IT Operations in enhancing hardware lifecycle management, SaaS platforms, and IT asset tracking through efficiency driven by AI and automation.

• Work closely with Security and Legal teams to ensure that AI and IT architecture comply with standards for compliance, risk management, and privacy.

• Lead tool rationalization and consolidation efforts utilizing AI analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in IT engineering, architecture, and cloud-native systems, with a recent emphasis on AI, automation, and LLMs.

• Proficiency in AI technologies such as large language models (LLMs), MLOps tools, and generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT/OpenAI, Gemini AI, Notion AI).

• Hands-on experience in building, integrating, or experimenting with AI models, LLMs, and AI-driven workflows.

• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including Google Workspace, Okta, JAMF, Intune, Zoom, Slack, and Cisco Meraki.

• Outstanding abilities in technical documentation, architecture diagramming, project planning, and execution.

• Capable of articulating complex technology and AI concepts clearly to a diverse audience.

• Confident in leading executive meetings, managing AI committees, and advising leadership teams.

• Experience in game/software development is highly preferred, especially where LLMs or automation were integral to the technology stack.
