AI Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design and development of components and integration layers for the ERP platform.

• Execute REST API integrations among various systems, including ERP modules, databases, and third-party services.

• Assist with data migration and ETL processes involving relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.

• Adhere to and contribute to the architecture guidelines established by the technical lead.

• Utilize AI coding tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to enhance development, documentation, and troubleshooting efficiency.

• Create basic automation workflows using platforms like n8n or similar.

• Investigate and implement LLM-based integrations in enterprise settings under technical supervision.

• Keep up-to-date with advancing AI development tools and suggest practical uses.

• Develop and sustain backend services using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or PHP.

• Implement and integrate ERP business modules such as accounting, invoicing, inventory, payroll, or related areas.

• Write clean, testable code that adheres to team standards and engage in code review processes.

• Support electronic invoicing integrations and transactional workflows.

• Operate within established cloud environments (OCI, AWS) with assistance from the infrastructure team.

• Utilize Docker for local development and deployment tasks.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.

• Follow established operational procedures for production deployments and environment management.

• Collaborate within an agile team using tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Notion.

• Clearly communicate progress, challenges, and delivery updates to the team.

• Participate in planning sessions and contribute to the execution of sprints.

• Be available for occasional travel to Panama City for team meetings or client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of practical experience in backend software development.

• Familiarity with at least one ERP platform or enterprise business module (invoicing, inventory, accounting, payroll, etc.).

• Proficient in one or more backend programming languages: Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP.

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Cursor) in everyday development tasks.

• Basic database skills in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server; capable of writing queries, migrations, and integrations.

• Understanding of REST API development and usage.

• Basic knowledge of cloud environments (OCI, AWS) and Docker for development purposes.

• Willingness and availability to travel to Panama City, Panama as necessary.
