This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Prioritize the client experience and ensure publishing accuracy in all tasks.
• Organize, review, and manage social media content across various platforms and YouTube channels.
• Proactively address post dependencies, including assets, text, captions, approvals, account access, platform specifications, timelines, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with client representatives and Storm’s content production, copywriting, captioning, and social teams to ensure seamless workflow without unnecessary delays or surprises.
• Utilize AI tools and workflow systems to facilitate consistent coordination tasks, including calendar management, dependency tracking, content verification, research, account assessments, reporting, and documentation.
• Critically evaluate AI-assisted work prior to its delivery to clients, platforms, or internal stakeholders.
• Investigate clients’ shows, films, channels, competitors, and audiences to provide social media recommendations based on relevant context.
• Stay updated on social platform changes and identify practical updates that could impact client accounts.
• Enhance YouTube content through effective titles, thumbnails, text, metadata, and publishing checks.
• Assist in documenting and refining internal processes to ensure best practices are consistently applied across the team.
• Clearly escalate any issues that are blocked, risky, unclear, overdue, or beyond your authority, providing evidence and a sensible next step.
• Practical experience in social media coordination, publishing, community management, content operations, or related digital fields.
• Familiarity with AI: you have utilized AI tools in real-world settings, academic work, or personal projects, and can articulate how you assess their outputs.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly concerning text, timing, assets, approvals, account selection, links, platform requirements, and final pre-publishing checks.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate what has been accomplished, what is obstructed, what poses risks, and what requires a decision.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage workloads across multiple accounts, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using social publishing tools, spreadsheets, project management systems, documentation, and other workflow applications.
• A systematic approach: you recognize that repetitive tasks can be clarified, secured, and made more efficient.
• A genuine interest in social platforms, audience behavior, entertainment brands, and the evolving landscape of AI tools.
• Good judgment regarding when to operate independently, when to seek assistance, when to escalate issues, and when to refrain from publishing.
• Capability to analyze information both qualitatively and quantitatively, and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• High level of initiative: you do not wait for perfect guidance when a logical next step is available.
