This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for extensive Azure programs and portfolios.
• Develop modernization frameworks and reference architectures across applications, platforms, and data.
• Transform business and product strategies into actionable cloud architecture roadmaps and execution plans.
• Provide guidance on significant architectural decisions, shared design standards, reusable models, and technical trade-offs.
• Integrate solutions into cohesive end-to-end architectures with defined ownership and integration contracts.
• Oversee architectural processes through design reviews, forums, and governance activities.
• Advocate for modular design, testability, CI/CD, observability, automation, and AI-assisted methodologies.
• Facilitate discussions with executives and senior stakeholders regarding cloud modernization, platform strategies, AI adoption, and program roadmaps.
• Establish discovery strategies and align backlogs with architectural and business objectives.
• Conduct architecture reviews and steering committees that yield documented decisions and actionable next steps.
• Define architecture, discovery, and delivery frameworks to ensure predictable incremental delivery across teams and time zones.
• Monitor risks, technical debt, quality trends, and architectural drift.
• Assist in opportunity qualification, estimation, strategic pursuits, and proposal development.
• Mentor Senior Architects, Delivery Architects, and senior engineers.
• Shape career trajectories, development plans, learning resources, interview standards, and promotion reviews.
• Cultivate a culture of psychological safety, inclusivity, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Identify account opportunities and foster executive relationships.
• Lead pursuit teams and define technical strategies for strategic pursuits, projects, and programs.
• Develop solution options, program-level architectures, estimates, reusable assets, playbooks, templates, and accelerators.
• Promote modern frameworks, cloud capabilities, automation, and responsible AI-assisted tools.
• Over 12 years of experience in delivering solutions in application development, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or data and analytics at an enterprise scale.
• More than 7 years of experience in solution architecture and leading development or engineering teams.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in setting vision and leading enterprise-wide AI/ML adoption strategies.
• Profound expertise in various domains including agents and orchestration, search and retrieval, LLM operations, responsible AI, AI platforms, cloud engineering, data integration, governance, analytics, and visualization.
• Familiarity with Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar agent frameworks.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Search, Pinecone, FAISS, Milvus, hybrid search, re-ranking, and embedding models.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks, golden datasets, hallucination and groundedness validation, safety testing, telemetry, monitoring, deployment pipelines, and LLM optimization.
• Understanding of threat modeling, privacy reviews, data minimization, safety guardrails, policy enforcement, auditability, model risk management, and GDPR.
• Practical experience with Azure AI services, Databricks, Azure OpenAI, APIs, containers, microservices, and DevOps pipelines.
• Experience in developing data pipelines, quality controls, metadata practices, and master data management strategies.
• Proficient in delivering insights using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate emerging AI frameworks into enterprise-ready solutions.
• Expertise with modern development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
• Knowledge of analytics and data science tools, frameworks, and advanced techniques.
• Relevant Azure or Databricks certifications in AI, Data, or Architecture.
• Experience in leading Azure-based modernization, transformation, AI, or platform programs at an enterprise scale.
• Experience defining solution and platform architectures that align business strategy with scalable technical designs and measurable outcomes.
• Capable of leading hybrid and remote teams across different time zones.
• In-depth understanding of core concepts, languages, frameworks, and design patterns within a primary domain.
• Experience with designing quality, automation, observability, and automated testing practices at scale.
• Proficient in using AI-augmented development and integrating AI/ML capabilities into solutions.
• Extensive experience in Agile or Scrum environments at scale.
• Proven track record in consulting or professional services, including client-facing leadership and executive engagement.
• Familiarity with key Azure services pertinent to the candidate’s area of expertise.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Dedicated to continuous learning in cloud, data, and AI.
• Ability to foster culture, inclusivity, and community engagement.
• Relevant cloud architecture certifications are highly desirable.
