AI / Machine Learning Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive ML/AI solutions from identifying the problem to deployment and monitoring.

• Create scalable AI/ML architectures utilizing AWS and GCP services.

• Enhance RAG pipelines, including aspects such as chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, and re-ranking.

• Develop frameworks for retrieval evaluation, encompassing Recall@K, Precision@K, MRR, and nDCG.

• Design and execute knowledge graphs and ontologies.

• Construct data ingestion pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.

• Implement solutions using AWS tools like SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and OpenSearch.

• Deploy self-hosted embedding models within secure environments.

• Maintain compliance with data security requirements concerning PHI/PII.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and serve as a technical consultant.

• Guide team members and contribute to thought leadership in technical domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying ML/AI solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong knowledge of RAG systems and techniques for retrieval optimization.

• Familiarity with vector databases and hybrid search methodologies.

• Understanding of knowledge graph design and entity resolution processes.

• Proficient in Python (knowledge of R is an advantage).

• Experience with large language model platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini.
