AEM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design comprehensive headless solutions utilizing AEM as a content source alongside React/Next.js for rendering purposes.

• Create SSR and SSG architectures using Next.js or comparable frameworks to develop high-performance, SEO-optimized websites.

• Establish and implement AEM Headless content models (Content Fragments, Models, and APIs) to facilitate omnichannel delivery.

• Architect, develop, and sustain scalable AEM components adhering to Adobe's best practices and emphasizing reusability.

• Lead the configuration of AEM templates, workflows, and dispatchers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

• Direct AEM Cloud implementations, ensuring they align with Adobe's progressive cloud-native functionalities.

• Collaborate with system administrators, DevOps, and security teams for deployment, optimization, and system upgrades.

• Act as a technical leader, mentoring developers and ensuring compliance with AEM development standards.

• Diagnose and resolve complex authoring, performance, and integration challenges within the AEM platform.

• Manage and enhance AEM integrations with Adobe CJA Analytics, Adobe Launch, and various third-party services.

• Define and uphold best practices concerning security, accessibility, SEO, UX, and analytics.

• Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and solution architecture meetings.

• Maintain and update extensive technical documentation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to align AEM capabilities with business objectives.

• Provide leadership in Agile/Scrum settings, ensuring effective sprint planning and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mastery of AEM Core & Architecture (Non-Negotiable)

• Over 11 years of software development experience, including at least 7 years of practical AEM expertise.

• Demonstrated ability to independently architect, design, and evaluate enterprise-level AEM solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR/CRX, and AEM Dispatcher.

• Expertise in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) (Non-Negotiable)

• Direct, hands-on experience executing projects in AEM as a Cloud Service.

• Proficient in modern cloud deployment methodologies and the AEM Cloud SDK.

• Headless & Modern Frontend Integration (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong background in utilizing AEM as a Headless CMS integrated with React/SPA frameworks.

• Proficiency in Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Next.js, and API-driven content delivery.
