Adjunct Instructor, Cybersecurity – Online

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver the approved curriculum, content, and assessments within an applied learning setting.

• Facilitate activities and discussions that engage various learning styles.

• Offer targeted guidance, mentorship, personalized support, and coaching to students.

• Interpret and administer assessments while providing constructive feedback.

• Integrate technology effectively to enhance educational experiences.

• Prepare and provide high-quality instruction.

• Develop course syllabi and instructional plans.

• Organize daily classes utilizing creative and innovative techniques.

• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs.

• Adhere to assigned schedules and maintain accurate student records.

• Ensure a safe instructional environment and secure equipment where applicable.

• Provide student advisement and timely, accurate information.

• Collaborate with the Office of Student Success on tutoring and retention initiatives.

• Participate in tours and recruitment events.

• Assist with departmental and program recruitment planning.

• Serve as an ambassador for the program and TSTC.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Education and experience prerequisites are determined by the assigned program.

• Residency in Texas is preferred.

• Must demonstrate flexibility, including availability for evening, weekend, or summer assignments when necessary.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• A commitment to TSTC's mission, vision, and values is essential.

• Upon hiring, completion of the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form is mandatory.

• Must provide acceptable original documents proving identity and authorization to work in the United States by the third day of employment.

• A criminal history background check is required for finalists.
