Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Maintenance of accounting records (including bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, ratios, and associated tasks) for companies operating under the Simples Nacional and Lucro Presumido taxation regimes;

• Filing of statutory documents and ancillary obligations (such as DEFIS, ECD, ECF);

• Registration of accounting books with the Board of Trade (Juntas Comerciais);

• Offer technical accounting assistance and address technical queries for the support team and other accounting personnel;

• Aid in workload distribution, handle escalations, and take part in meetings as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of general accounting principles;

• Experience with accounting software (Questor);

• Intermediate knowledge of taxation matters;

• Advanced understanding of accounting regulations;

• Awareness of accounting-related statutory obligations;

• Proficiency in analyzing and reconciling accounting accounts;

• Intermediate capabilities in preparing and analyzing financial and accounting statements;

• Intermediate familiarity with payroll-related taxes;

• Background in preparing, validating, and submitting ECD (Escrituração Contábil Digital) and ECF (Escrituração Contábil Fiscal) filings for companies taxed under Lucro Presumido;

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis);

• Registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC).
