This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

• Support the Chief Engineer in the upkeep and functioning of main propulsion and auxiliary systems.

• Conduct regular inspections of boilers, engineering systems, and machinery to identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, compressors, generators, and various mechanical and electrical equipment.

• Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations and procedures.

• Oversee the engine room and other technical areas.

• Maintain precise records of engineering service operations and report any irregularities.

• Engage in emergency drills and become acquainted with damage control plans and procedures.

• Possession of a valid Engineering Watchkeeping Certificate or an equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in a similar position on vessels is strongly preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of marine engineering systems and machinery.
