Visual Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create visually captivating display concepts, special placements, and lookbooks for retail that align with brand identity and current beauty trends.

• Innovatively adapt online campaigns and product highlights for in-store retail environments.

• Set up seasonal themes, launch displays, and limited editions at the point of sale.

• Design attractive product placements and planograms to effectively guide the customer journey.

• Guarantee impeccable execution of visual merchandising in stores and conduct quality assurance checks.

• Provide training for external partners and store staff on brand presentation standards.

• Work collaboratively with brand and design teams, trade marketing, sales, as well as external shopfitting and display manufacturers.

• Advance Doonails’ brand presence in physical retail and, potentially, develop point-of-sale experience environments, flagship presentations, and international visual merchandising guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in visual merchandising, trade marketing, or point-of-sale design, preferably in the beauty, lifestyle, FMCG, or drugstore sectors.

• Exceptionally strong visual sensibility, a passion for aesthetics, and a sharp eye for color, form, and trends.

• Experience in developing displays and shelf visuals.

• Insight into how to emotionally connect with customers at the point of sale, create purchase triggers, and bring brand worlds to life in three dimensions.

• Enjoy being hands-on from the initial sketch/idea and planogram development through to on-site construction and implementation.

• Openness to travel within the assigned region for store inspections, flagship launches, openings, and trade show participation.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Confident in engaging with design agencies, manufacturers, and store partners.
