Techno-Functional SAP Payment Engine Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, design, and configure solutions for the SAP payment engine.

• Seamlessly integrate the SAP payment engine with external systems.

• Oversee, diagnose, and enhance payment flows, performance, and error management in production settings.

• Assist in testing procedures, deployments, and create comprehensive technical documentation.

• Design, develop, and upgrade ABAP programs, classes, function modules, and interfaces to expand the functionality of the SAP Payment Engine.

• Configure and tailor SAP Payment Engine components (such as payment processing, clearing, and exception handling) according to both technical and functional specifications.

• Create and sustain interfaces to link banks, payment service providers, and SAP modules.

• Investigate payment processing challenges by debugging ABAP code, monitoring jobs, and enhancing the performance of high-volume payment transactions.

• Facilitate technical testing (including unit, integration, and regression), manage transports, and provide thorough technical documentation and code evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of practical experience with SAP Payment Engine / Central Payments.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management competencies.
