Technical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance and updates of Confluence pages, documentation systems, and trackers.

• Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and systematic organization of team knowledge assets.

• Assist in data analysis by executing basic SQL queries and conducting data validation.

• Record data issues, findings, and their respective resolutions.

• Monitor and update the status of data quality issues and document interactions.

• Provide support to mid- and senior-level Technical Assistants in resolving issues.

• Manage lower-complexity, well-defined data issues.

• Acquire knowledge of Medicaid data structures, policies, and team workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must successfully obtain public trust clearance from the U.S. Federal Government.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or obtain clearance through the Foreign National Government System.

• Foreign-national candidates are required to have resided in the United States for at least 3 of the past 5 years.

• Foreign-national candidates must possess a valid, unexpired passport from their country of origin.

• Foreign-national candidates must provide the necessary visa/work permit documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, healthcare, biology, or a related scientific or technical field.

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related area.

• Basic understanding of SQL or a willingness to learn.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to adhere to established processes, maintain precise documentation, and juggle multiple priorities.

• Proven initiative, accountability, and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility and eagerness to work in a dynamic environment.

• Expected working hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless directed otherwise by the manager.
