Software Engineer, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance, scalable interfaces that facilitate real-time, high-traffic user interactions.

• Write production-grade code from the outset, improving user journeys and optimizing frontend efficiency.

• Quickly troubleshoot and fix interface problems to guarantee stability and responsiveness across different browsers and devices.

• Work in close collaboration with engineers, designers, and product managers to create features that are both user-friendly and impactful.

• Maintain a balance between design accuracy, performance, accessibility, and maintainability in each release.

• Utilize contemporary frameworks, design systems, and tools to create interfaces that adapt alongside our business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in modern frontend development utilizing frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

• A solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

• Experience in creating high-performance, responsive, and accessible web interfaces across various browsers and devices.

• Familiarity with developing and maintaining automated test suites, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• A collaborative approach and experience engaging in code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on debugging.

• A sense of curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering thoughtful user experiences in a dynamic environment.
