Senior Product Manager – Product Design Simulation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop the product strategy and roadmap for integrated design and simulation experiences.

• Advocate for solutions that unify design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.

• Promote the use of simulation as a fundamental design tool for mainstream users.

• Utilize automation and AI to streamline complex analyses and enhance decision-making.

• Ensure that responsible AI principles (transparency, explainability, user trust) are integrated into product experiences.

• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and domain specialists to deliver impactful and credible solutions.

• Analyze customer insights and product data to uncover unmet needs and prioritize investment opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in product management, ideally in design, engineering, or manufacturing software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Computer Science.

• Solid understanding of product development workflows (preferably in consumer products).

• Strong grasp of AI product principles, including human-in-the-loop design, model evaluation and iteration, trust, explainability, and UX considerations.

• Familiarity with simulation/CAE as part of the design and validation process.

• Demonstrated ability to define strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and achieve results.

• Experience in making simulation or analysis tools accessible to broader, non-expert audiences.

• Background in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.

• Knowledge of data analytics, data synthesis, and hypothesis testing.

• Experience with cloud, automation, or AI-powered product capabilities.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills.

• Strong project management, planning, and research capabilities.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel (up to 20%).
