Senior Product Designer, Restaurant Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Craft the essential experiences that restaurants, partners, and internal teams utilize to engage with OpenTable — encompassing onboarding, reporting, security, APIs, and partner tools.

• Work in close collaboration with a talented and committed team of product designers, product managers, and engineers to provide practical, high-quality solutions that can scale.

• Advocate for product concepts that skillfully align customer requirements with vital business objectives.

• Develop expertise in the needs of restaurants by organizing and conducting research with restaurant owners and staff; transforming insights into actionable design direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in product design.

• Background in designing B2B experiences or a proven history of addressing highly complex workflows.

• Experience in leading and facilitating workshops with cross-functional partners.

• Successfully led comprehensive user research initiatives, including planning, facilitation, and synthesis to convert findings into intuitive, evidence-based design solutions that effectively tackle user challenges.

• Ability to manage time efficiently and self-direct to fulfill agreed-upon commitments.

• Previous experience with integrations and APIs is an advantage.

• Strong visual and interaction design skills.

• Capability to negotiate, prioritize, and decompose design tasks into measurable outcomes while championing the user perspective.

• Integrated AI into workflows to enhance and accelerate design processes and results.

• A strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn from others.

• A positive attitude toward receiving feedback from stakeholders and peers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for clear articulation of design decisions.

• Experience working with remote teams.

• Proficient in Figma and other prototyping tools.
