Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop user experiences and interfaces for product prototypes that adhere to industry standards and best practices.

• Convert user needs and business requirements into engaging experiences across web, mobile, and AI-driven platforms.

• Design user journeys, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that function seamlessly across various devices and interfaces.

• Create both low- and high-fidelity prototypes to convey design intent, utilizing AI-assisted tools for rapid exploration and iteration of concepts.

• Innovate features that utilize generative AI to enhance user interaction and streamline the tax filing process.

• Play a key role in defining the characteristics of AI-native experiences at scale throughout the Taxwell product ecosystem.

• Develop reusable, AI-informed design patterns and interaction paradigms applicable across different products and surfaces.

• Work collaboratively with product management, engineering, research, and data science teams to define, iterate on, and launch features, ensuring alignment with user needs, business objectives, and technical limitations.

• Suggest metrics for defining, managing, and evaluating design success, while prioritizing enhancements.

• Formulate and present strategies and recommendations to design partners and stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind them.

• Utilize expertise, storytelling, and persuasive skills to shape the product vision and design.

• Assess and communicate the value of design to stakeholders using both qualitative and quantitative data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent expertise in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in designing solutions for software, web applications, or mobile native apps.

• More than 3 years of experience or equivalent expertise using leading design and prototyping tools to produce low- and high-fidelity designs, such as Figma.

• Extensive proficiency with AI-powered design tools and workflows, including a proven record of integrating AI capabilities into the design process and promoting their adoption within your team.

• Experience in designing AI-powered features or products—such as conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, predictive workflows, or agentic experiences—with a demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready solutions with measurable outcomes.

• Proven experience in influencing, negotiating, and securing buy-in from stakeholders, including leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to apply the design decision-making process and incorporate data and insights into design work.

• Experience supporting the entire iterative design process, including wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and producing high-fidelity visuals.

• Fundamental understanding of common design heuristics and principles.

• Ability to graciously accept feedback while knowing when to respectfully advocate for your designs.

• Takes ownership of personal work and AI-assisted outputs, being accountable to deadlines and the quality of all deliverables, regardless of the production method.

• Capable of delivering impactful presentations and employing storytelling to influence and persuade others.

• Can provide examples of reimagining design workflows: challenging the previous norms and reinventing processes with AI at the forefront.
