Senior Manager, SAP Transportation Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for logistics and warehouse operations.

• Oversee the functional design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions.

• Collect and evaluate business requirements, transforming them into SAP-compliant system solutions.

• Develop and configure processes for transportation planning, execution, charge management, and freight settlement.

• Integrate SAP TM with other systems, including SAP EWM, SAP ERP (SD, MM, LE), carriers, 3PLs, and various external platforms.

• Assist with comprehensive solution testing, user training, and stabilization following go-live.

• Work collaboratively with business, technical, client, and cross-functional stakeholders on data and process integration.

• Diagnose system issues and propose ongoing process enhancements.

• Create functional specifications for interfaces, enhancements, and reports.

• Conduct workshops to showcase standard SAP TM processes while gathering logistics and warehousing requirements.

• Collaborate with the Global Trade and Services team for integration efforts.

• Provide documentation and continuous support.

• Independently manage multiple tasks while offering proactive support in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Practical experience as an SAP TM Functional Consultant, ideally with both implementation and support experience.

• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and TM configuration.

• Familiarity with integrating EWM, SD, MM, and LE.

• Significant experience with S/4HANA TM, whether embedded or standalone.

• Experience in connecting SAP TM with SAP EWM, focusing on order management, freight units, and warehouse task execution.

• Profound understanding of Transportation Planning & Execution, Charge Management, and Freight Settlement.

• Knowledge of the BOPF framework, PPO (Post Processing Office), and PFO (Process Freight Orders).

• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, or CPI for TM-EWM and TM-ERP integrations.

• Comprehension of logistics business processes and transportation networks.

• SAP TM certification is an advantage.

• Must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by applicable regulations.

• Must be based in one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. Territories.

• Security clearance is not mandatory.
