This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develop the comprehensive design strategy for the Foundations pillar, encompassing supplier onboarding, identity management, profiles, navigation, and shared platform functionalities. Convert business objectives and platform limitations into a distinct, long-term vision that integrates Grow, Transact, and the wider Coupa product ecosystem.
• Oversee the design of essential, cross-product experiences that facilitate seamless movement for suppliers within Coupa. Ensure that core systems and workflows are coherent, reliable, and user-friendly, even as underlying complexities increase.
• Collaborate closely with leaders in Product, Engineering, and Operations to influence platform roadmaps, establish shared requirements, and make informed trade-offs. Advocate for clarity and consistency for suppliers while navigating technical and organizational limitations.
• Define the role of AI in enhancing foundational supplier experiences, encompassing guided onboarding, profile intelligence, and proactive recommendations that assist suppliers in discovering and utilizing the appropriate Coupa capabilities at the right moment.
• Create high-quality flows, components, prototypes, interaction specifications, and comprehensive service experience maps that unify teams on the functionality of the supplier platform. Set high standards for craftsmanship, clarity, and scalability through your own contributions.
• Lead and engage in research with a diverse range of suppliers to identify onboarding challenges, trust indicators, and cross-product friction. Convert insights into platform-wide enhancements that improve the overall supplier experience.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Systems team to refine shared patterns, components, and platform standards. Ensure that foundational experiences are scalable across web and mobile platforms and maintain consistency across Grow, Transact, and other Coupa offerings.
• Over 10 years of experience in product design, specifically in creating complex B2B SaaS, platform, or marketplace products, ideally in settings with multiple products, users, or integrations.
• A demonstrated capacity to simplify complexity, evidenced by work on foundational or critical workflows such as onboarding, identity, permissions, configuration, or cross-product experiences.
• Systems thinking skills, with an understanding of how data, identity, trust, and workflows evolve within an ecosystem over time.
• Strong design expertise, including advanced skills in Figma and experience contributing to established design systems and shared platform patterns. You set an example and elevate the standards for your peers.
• Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders, craft compelling product narratives, and work closely with engineering on scalable solutions and trade-offs.
