Senior DevOps Engineer – Senior Associate Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for intricate software projects from initial concept through to deployment.

• Oversee the scope, risks, and timelines associated with software delivery.

• Exhibit strong rapid prototyping abilities and swiftly convert ideas into functional code.

• Engage in both front-end and back-end development utilizing cloud technologies.

• Innovate solutions with the help of generative AI technologies.

• Perform code reviews to guarantee code quality and compliance with best practices.

• Generate and sustain documentation regarding software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations.

• Effectively identify and address technical challenges.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in technology.

• Collaborate closely with the product team, business team, and other stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and implement applications and modules, which includes custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.

• Analyze and comprehend the functional and technical requirements of applications, solutions, and systems, translating them into software architecture and design specifications.

• Create and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to assure the quality of the software.

• Identify and rectify software bugs and performance issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality software within deadlines.

• Maintain thorough documentation of software designs, code, and development processes.

• Tailor modules to fulfill specific business needs.

• Engage in integration with other systems and platforms to guarantee seamless data flow and functionality.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field OR High school diploma / GED with 8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Solid grasp of information systems and network technologies.

• Over 2 years of experience supporting large-scale web infrastructure.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

• Experience with AWS Services (e.g., CloudFront CDN, Load balancers, EKS, ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).

• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles.

• Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python.
