Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance our CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage and strengthen our EKS clusters.

• Assist in overseeing our RDS/Aurora Postgres fleet.

• Operate our Kafka platform effectively.

• Support the provisioning and management of our data lake.

• Facilitate analytics-engineering workflows using dbt.

• Take charge of and expand our infrastructure-as-code in Terraform.

• Integrate security measures into the platform and pipelines.

• Contribute to and enhance our SOC 2 compliance posture.

• Help improve our operational practices as we grow.

• Collaborate with the team on observability initiatives.

• Drive cost efficiency across our AWS environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing production infrastructure on AWS.

• Proven ability to scale infrastructure and operations during organizational growth.

• Extensive, practical experience with Kubernetes.

• Strong production background with RDS/Aurora Postgres.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines.

• Expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform.

• A solid foundation in security practices.

• Hands-on experience in supporting SOC 2 compliance.

• Experience with provisioning and managing a cloud data warehouse or lakehouse.

• Comfortable working closely with systems.
