This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Oversee the visual direction and execution for Wealthfront's 'Vested Interest' editorial initiative.
• Develop timely content that connects macroeconomic developments with personal finance objectives.
• Work collaboratively with the content team to brainstorm and produce weekly visual assets.
• Create headers, charts, photo composites, and illustrations related to financial topics.
• Guide editorial executions with a clear understanding of audience needs and business goals.
• Foster relationships with editorial and marketing teams to enhance collaboration.
• Contribute to and refine strategic insights during the creative development phase.
• Deliver outstanding design work that balances expressiveness, clarity, and scalability.
• Review initial drafts and research materials to form well-informed perspectives.
• Share creative expertise and skills with team members.
• Generate and produce assets from concept to delivery while integrating stakeholder feedback.
• Provide multiple strategic directions each week.
• Transform complex financial concepts from idea to execution.
• Evolve brand expressions while ensuring brand consistency.
• Modify visual executions and messages for various media channels.
• A minimum of 3 years as a visual designer in an agency, studio, or in-house creative team.
• Experience working collaboratively on a time-sensitive content program with a regular schedule.
• Strong foundation and enthusiasm for digital creative elements, including layout, typography, and color.
• Background in experimental production, such as collage, 3D, illustration, and AI.
• Proven experience in adapting consistent visual expressions across digital, video, and social platforms.
• Ability to comprehend audience needs and business objectives.
• Capacity to develop informed perspectives based on drafts and research materials.
• Skill in balancing expressiveness with clarity and scalability.
• Proficiency in effectively incorporating stakeholder feedback.
• Bonus: Direct experience collaborating with a content team.
• Bonus: Technical skills in motion production using After Effects or similar software.
• Bonus: Proficient use of AI to illustrate concepts or create final assets.

• Estimated annual salary: $139,500 USD, plus equity.
