Senior Compliance Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Ensuring Plutus adheres to all pertinent Lithuanian regulations and legal requirements.

• Keeping abreast of developments in the regulatory landscape.

• Preparing the organization to meet MiCA legislation standards.

• Formulating and executing compliance policies and procedures, while monitoring and reporting on compliance responsibilities.

• Identifying and mitigating compliance-related risks.

• Conducting investigations related to cryptocurrency and addressing associated risks.

• Reporting Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) to FCIS (FNTT) and performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations.

• Performing general compliance tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Knowledge of finance.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

• Experience in financial regulation and compliance is essential.

• Additional relevant qualifications and skills should include familiarity with Lithuanian regulations, experience in the cryptocurrency sector, and certifications in compliance or related fields.
