This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native RESTful APIs utilizing Python, GoLang/Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Create and oversee Docker container images, adhering to best practices for image construction, security, cost-effectiveness, and deployment.
• Write, manage, and version HELM charts for deploying services in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, covering configuration/annotation values, templates, upgrades, and rollback support.
• Engage in (or develop) CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment, testing, monitoring, and rollback of SaaS services.
• Assess the performance, reliability, and scalability of services; pinpoint bottlenecks and implement solutions such as caching, concurrency, resource constraints, and horizontal auto-scaling.
• Create and sustain serverless SaaS components utilizing AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS/Fargate.
• Guarantee high availability and fault tolerance through Kubernetes features like readiness and liveness probes, appropriate resource requests/limits, and proper namespace/network isolation. Enhance CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, versioning, and documentation publishing.
• Manage in-cluster dependencies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, and ElasticSearch via Helm or Operators.
• Collaborate with security, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure deployments align with security, compliance, logging, monitoring, and auditing standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in production and staging environments. Deliver root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of architecture, deployment processes, configurations, and the usage of cloud tools.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in cloud development or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building SaaS applications and multi-cloud solutions.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and practical experience with DevOps tools, including but not limited to GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient knowledge of public cloud SDKs/APIs (Azure SDK, AWS SDK, GCP SDK, etc.) for interacting with provider services (storage, identity, secrets, etc.). Experience with Boto3 and AWS CDK is preferred.
• Strong background in building APIs (REST or GraphQL) using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of Docker, containerization best practices, and experience in deploying containers on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Experience in authoring and maintaining Helm charts and Operators for intricate deployments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Elasticsearch/Loki, etc.).
• Strong grasp of cloud hosting (preferably AWS and Azure) as well as cloud storage, secrets, and security services.
• Familiarity with GitOps tooling and principles.
• Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Terraform for the creation and deployment of complex environments.
• Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate proficiently, both in writing and verbally.
